Nearly 200 years after the battle of Gonzales, Texans face new battles. It is so important to keep fighting for conservative values and asking the Lord for strength.

It is up to each of us to step forward and provide the elected officials our country needs at this time. Voting is a privilege and a right we should all hold dear. We must vote responsibly.

The event has become a symbol of the Montgomery County Republican Party’s commitment to faith, freedom, and public service.

The battle to stop Republican House members from colluding with Democrats has been long and hard. I am confident the local and state parties will do everything possible to end the practice of granting power to Democrats to gain their vote for House Speaker.

After years of promises by Texas Legislators to provide substantial tax relief, the truth is that most of you have felt very little relief at all. Texans feel cheated. And they have every right to. 

How can you tell if your Representative is truly a Conservative and survive “Gaslighting Season” in Texas?

Conservatives in the 89th Texas Legislature faced their first “trap vote” when House Bill 1 was presented to the public as the “Banning Democrat Chairs Bill.” 

Yesterday, the Conroe Courier printed yet another hit piece against the Montgomery County Republican Party. The article is full of falsehoods, omissions of pertinent information, and creative reinterpretations of events. This is not surprising coming from a news outlet owned by the left-leaning Houston Chronicle.

The party is awaiting the results of the Legislative Session and for direction from the Republican Party of Texas Executive Committee to see if any further escalation of the censures is appropriate.

It is so exciting to actually be represented by a politician who puts America and “We the People” first, but we also must address issues taking place in the Texas House. Our county and country depend on us.

Under the leadership of Montgomery County Republican Party Chairman Gwen Withrow, who took office in June, the local party is doing some amazing things, including opening a new Party Headquarters, organizing a Republican Women's Summit to rally the vote, and hosting an upcoming Lincoln Reagan Dinner.
