A smear campaign against our State Republican Executive Committee (SREC) representatives for Senate District (SD) 4 was emailed to Texas GOP Convention delegates this morning by outgoing Montgomery County Republican Party Chairman, Bryan Christ. The email was full of false and salacious accusations against Gwen Withrow and Dale Inman. Chairman Christ continues to do everything he can to divide the party and attempt to remove strong Republicans from local and state party leadership.

While the local Republican Party is focused on raising funds, educating voters, and getting people excited about the party, constant attacks are being leveled at the volunteers and hard-working Precinct Chairs who make up the local party.

Yesterday, a slanderous text message was sent to voters claiming that crime has risen and cases are going unsolved in Montgomery County. The purpose of the text is to convince residents to vote “no” to Rand Henderson on May 28th. The data from this text was lifted from an article from Montgomery County, MARYLAND! The text assumes that voters will not research the data to determine that it isn't even from our county! The Montgomery County Republican Party would like to remind voters to do your due diligence in our local elections.

Republican Party of Texas Chairman Matt Rinaldi has issued a letter confirming that the correct Temporary Chairs for the Senatorial District Conventions are: Dale Inman (SD 4), Dennis Tibbs (SD 7), and Lauren Vickers (SD 18).

The Montgomery County Republican Party would like to remind voters that many media outlets in Montgomery County use a biased, one-sided approach to report what they call “news,” but would more accurately be termed commentary. Endorsements of candidates will always be labeled as “commentary” or “endorsement” if the site is credible.

Voters should be aware of several voter guides being handed out at the polls and sent to voters’ homes that are financed by out-of-state, pro-gambling, or RINO/Establishment groups. Please do your own research before heading to the polls.

A barrage of hit pieces and mailers is being foisted upon voters by Chairman Bryan Christ in a desperate attempt to get reelected. Chairman Christ will do anything to get reelected, including aligning himself with disgraced Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan and the pro-gambling lobby.

Republican County Chairman Bryan Christ will stop at nothing to get reelected, including sending a mailer filled with falsehoods to Montgomery County voters in the party’s name without authorization. The mailer, hitting voters’ mailboxes today, is another attempt by Chairman Christ to deflect from the fact that he was censured by the local party and is associated with multiple Political Action Committees (PACs) in Montgomery County that were created to deceive Republicans into voting against grassroots Conservative Republicans.

With Early Voting fully underway, many false and outlandish statements and slanderous "hit-piece" mailers are being circulated by those who want to take the grassroots and We the People out of the elections process. The best way to fight back is by researching candidates and voting for PROVEN Conservatives.

Precinct Conventions will be held on March 5, 2024, at your precinct polling location, beginning at 8:00 PM. All Republicans who voted (or sign an Oath of Affiliation) in the 2024 Primary are eligible to attend. Are you passionate about electing principled Conservatives? Do you feel called to advocate for specific policies? Would you like to be a delegate or alternate to the State Convention in May? The initial step in this journey is participating in your Precinct Convention.

Loyalty tests such as the questionnaire sent to Precinct Chair candidates by the Republican Voters of Texas PAC are designed to manipulate and are the primary reason that the Texas House is in such disarray.

Tricia Danto, who is running for The Woodlands Township Board Position 5, claims to be a “lifelong conservative,” but has a record of donating multiple times in recent years to ActBlue and Beto for Texas, and also donated to Rep. Steve Toth’s Democrat challenger, Kristin Johnson, in the 2022 election. Rep. Toth is one of the most conservative members of the Texas House.

The Montgomery County Republican Party passed a resolution endorsing the reelection of Dr. Shelley Sekula-Gibbs for The Woodlands Township Position #5. Dr. Sekula-Gibbs is up for reelection in the November 7, 2023, General Election. Her opponent, Tricia Danto, has a record of donating to ActBlue, Beto For Texas, and donated to Rep. Steve Toth’s Democrat opponent in the 2022 election.

The Montgomery County Republican Party will host a Town Hall Meeting in Conroe on October 26 at the KC Event Center, 2655 FM 1488. The focus is on law enforcement issues and taxing entities. A meet and greet will be held at 6:00 pm to allow attendees to meet Town Hall panelists, State Party Executive Committee Members for District 4, and Republican Precinct Chairs. The Town Hall will begin at 6:30 pm. There is no charge for admission.

The Montgomery County Republican Party passed five resolutions at the October County Executive Committee meeting to represent the voice of Republican voters in Montgomery County. The resolutions addressed election security, HB 900 and pornographic materials in Texas public schools, COVID medical freedom, as well as honoring Senators Bettencourt, Creighton, and Kolkhorst and endorsing Dr. Shelley Sekula-Gibbs.

The Montgomery County Republican Party will host a Town Hall Meeting in New Caney on August 24 at the East Montgomery County Senior Center, 21679 McCleskey Road. A meet and greet will be held at 6:00 pm to allow attendees to meet their Precinct Chairs. The Town Hall will begin at 6:30 pm. The Town Hall will focus on law enforcement issues surfacing as a result of the “Colony Ridge” or “Colonias” community.

The Montgomery County Republican Party expresses its appreciation and gratitude to Representatives Steve Toth and Cecil Bell for voting against the impeachment of AG Ken Paxton. We urge the Texas Senate to immediately dismiss all charges with prejudice and reinstate AG Paxton to his elected office.
