CONROE, TX - Tricia Danto, who is running for The Woodlands Township Board Position 5, claims to be a “lifelong conservative,” but has a record of donating multiple times in recent years to ActBlue and Beto for Texas, and also donated to Representative Steve Toth’s Democrat challenger, Kristin Johnson, in the 2022 election. Representative Toth is one of the most conservative members of the Texas House.

While the Montgomery County Republican Party does not endorse in Primary Elections when the race is “Republican vs. Republican,” the local Party Majority voted to officially endorse Conservative Republican, Dr. Shelley Sekula-Gibbs, in this non-partisan race as a proven Republican against her opponent, Tricia Danto, who is undeniably a supporter of Democrats. Please see Article XII, Section 2 of the Party Bylaws. The resolution passed unanimously.

Dr. Sekula-Gibbs is a former U.S. Congresswoman who has consistently and fearlessly stood up for Republican Party Principles.
