Conroe Courier Twists Facts in Another Hit Piece Against the Party

In an age where fake news is a real problem, our own Conroe Courier has somehow managed to stand out for its unbelievable ability to consistently get just about everything wrong in their reporting regarding the Montgomery County Republican Party.
It would be an exhaustive process to untangle all of the misinformation the Courier spews in its hit pieces against the local Republican Party, but it is clear that they have certainly mastered accidentally (on purpose) fact twisting, omissions of pertinent information, and their creative reinterpretations of events. It is not just sloppy reporting, there is clearly something else at play and the Courier reporters provide a target-rich environment for criticism to say the least.
In recognition of the Courier’s continued biased and inaccurate reporting, which the Montgomery County Republican Party could no longer just dismiss as simply journalistic incompetence, the Communications Team for the local party requires that the Courier submit their questions in writing as to avoid further “misinterpretations” by their reporting team. In response to this, instead of responding in writing, the Courier dishonestly reported in their most recent hit piece that the local party “refused to comment” when contacted by the Courier.
To state it plainly, if the Courier is required to go on the written record, they will not do so because this severely limits their ability to twist facts and then just chalk it up to, “Oh, I must have misunderstood you,” as has become their modus operandi.
If you ever stumble upon one their articles, just remember to have a good laugh, maybe cry a little, but never, under any circumstances, should you take the Courier seriously.
