MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX - The Montgomery County Republican Party is mourning the loss of a wonderful patriot and dear friend to many, Jill Glover. Jill passed away this morning after a battle with cancer.
Jill was the State Republican Executive Committee Woman for District 12 and was appointed as chair of the Legislative Priorities Committee in 2020.
Among her many contributions to Texans, her dedication to protecting children and years of advocacy was instrumental in the ban of gender mutilation of children that was passed into law in the 88th Texas Legislature. Her emails to grassroots Republicans spurred us to action throughout the session and were always signed, “For God and Texas.”

Even with her busy schedule, Jill was constantly on the road, driving all over Texas to speak to her fellow grassroots Republicans. Exactly a year ago, she visited us to explain the Republican Legislative Priorities and provide training on how to advocate for conservative issues.
Above all, Jill was a strong Christian who knew her real home was with Jesus. In an open letter shared on December 30, Jill encouraged her friends and family to keep sharing the Gospel of Jesus.
“This world is fleeting, and it is not my home. While I have made many mistakes, I have done my best to be faithful to what God has called me to do,” she said. “I am not indispensable. You all know what to do. Keep sharing the Gospel of Jesus and it is the most important thing of all.”
We are praying for Jill’s husband and son. May we honor her legacy by continuing her work with the same dedication and focus.
For God and Texas,
Jill Glover
