Abraham George at the RNC Convention

Thank you again for giving me the privilege to serve as the 2024-2026 Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas. The first 100 days of my term have been exciting and focused on returning President Donald J. Trump to the White House.

This summer, I had the opportunity to meet many of you and rally in support of our Republican nominees. It was an honor to represent Texas Republicans at the Republican National Convention and officially nominate President Trump.

Protect Our Elections

Election integrity is the top priority of the Republican Party of Texas. We are working cooperatively with President Trump’s election integrity operation at the Republican National Committee to secure a fair and transparent election for all Texans. Through Protect the Vote, we are:

  • Recruiting and training thousands of poll watchers and poll workers across Texas;

  • Actively partnering with our county parties to ensure that we receive every Republican worker placement that we are legally entitled to and to place watchers in every county;

  • Empowering our six dedicated election integrity staff members across the state to work directly with our stakeholders;

  • Welcoming Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Whatley to Texas for the second time since the national convention; and

  • Recruiting and training hundreds of lawyers to assist in triaging issues and answering calls to the Protect the Vote hotline during early voting and on Election Day.

Attorney General Ken Paxton is taking decisive action to protect and secure our elections. Grassroots activists in Bexar County sounded the alarm about Bexar County Commissioners Court’s consideration of using taxpayer funds to pay a third-party vendor, Civic Government Solutions, to print and distribute voter registration forms to unregistered individuals residing in the county. Harris County considered the same plan. General Paxton sent a letter to Bexar County and Harris County warning that this activity was unlawful. When Bexar County voted to adopt the measure, General Paxton sued Bexar County. Subsequently, General Paxton sued Travis County for deploying the same scheme. The Republican Party of Texas immediately contacted our county chairs and State Republican Executive Committee members to determine if this illegal program is operating in other counties.

Governor Abbott announced that Texas has removed over 1.1 million people from the state’s voter rolls since the enactment of Senate Bill 1. We are grateful to Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick and the Texas Senate Republicans for their excellent work in drafting Senate Bill 1 and Governor Abbott’s swift actions in defending the ballot box!

Get Out the Vote

The Texas GOP has unveiled an ambitious new initiative aimed at strengthening the Republican Party’s presence in competitive state legislative districts across Texas. We are committed to knocking on over 100,000 doors in key battleground areas ahead of the upcoming election cycle. This is a pivotal moment for Texas, and we are doubling down on our commitment to engage directly with voters across the state.

South Texas is a critical push because of the Senate and House seats that we can pick up there. On September 14th, I visited McAllen, Harlingen, and Corpus Christi alongside SD 27 Candidate Adam Hinojosa and former Congresswoman Mayra Flores for our South Texas Day of Action. On August 10, I participated in a rally with Chairman Whatley, Republican Party of Texas Vice Chairman D’rinda Randall, and wonderful patriots in Zapata County. Vice Chairman Randall is spearheading an initiative to place billboards in strategic locations across South Texas, reinforcing our conservative message in an important emerging area for Republicans.

This summer, the Republican Party of Texas was visible and present at Republican grassroots meetings and events across our state. From the grand opening of the Grayson County Republican Party headquarters to Representative Nate Schatzline’s Liberty and Justice Night of Action in Tarrant County to the Labor Day rally with Congressman Keith Self and Steve Kinard in Collin County, Republicans are energized and ready. Please remember that you may submit an event to be posted on our events calendar.

As you know, I lost my mother, Rachel, in July. I am grateful for the prayers and support that I have received from you during this difficult time. I am empowered by my mother’s deep sense of purpose and am dedicated to spreading the word about the Republican Party of Texas.

Now is the time for action. October 7 is the last day to register to vote. Has your place of worship conducted a voter registration drive? Are your friends and family ready to vote?

Our 2024 Victory Chair, Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, is actively working to support our conservative candidates up and down the ballot. And our Candidate Resource Committee is supporting our Republican nominees through our grassroots fund.

The Republican Party of Texas is ready for the fight to Defend Texas, Save America! Now is the time for action. Please contribute to the Republican Party of Texas. Please Protect the Vote by signing up today to join the Texas Election Integrity Team.

Let's keep the conservative fire burning bright.

For Texas, For America,
