Our Golden Age Trump-Reagan Gala was a fabulous event!  Guests donned their black and gold attire ready to celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary, our legendary United States Presidents Donald J. Trump and Ronald Reagan, and the Montgomery County Republican Party of Texas.

The VIP Room provided a special opportunity for our sponsors and guests to meet and mingle with distinguished speakers, elected state and local officials, and candidates prior to the event. The main reception area had plenty of entertainment, with a silent auction, photo booth and cash bar.

Gala Program

The gala was opened with prayer by Pastor Jason Nelson, followed by Judge Hafley and Bob Bagley leading our pledges to the flags. A beautiful a cappella rendition of the National Anthem by Tiffany Nelson put everyone in a patriotic spirit. Not only did we enjoy a delicious steak, crab cakes, and scrumptious carrot cake, but we were then treated by our many distinguished speakers.

The fantastic Kenny Webster was our Emcee for the evening, providing wild and witty commentary while keeping the show flowing seamlessly.

Montgomery County Republican Party Chairwoman Gwen Withrow was greeted with a standing ovation before her speech.

“Yesterday, I spent the day at Election Central observing the primary ballot test,” Chairman Withrow said. “The Democrats have 13 propositions on their primary ballot that are really scary - free housing, free healthcare, unlimited abortions, more taxes for the rich. It was a terrifying vision of turning us into a socialist nation. We will not let that happen. Thank you for your support so that we can turn out the vote to uphold our freedoms.”

Other speakers included Brett Jensen, Aaron Reitz, the Honorable Don Huffines, State Representative Steve Toth, State Senator Mayes Middleton, U.S. Congressman Dan Crenshaw, and U.S. Congressman Wesley Hunt.

We even had an engaging surprise speech by former Senator for Senate District 4 (and current Chancellor of Texas Tech University) Brandon Creighton.

Our honored keynote speaker, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, finished the event strong. We wish to thank each of our speakers for agreeing to entertain and inform us at the gala!

During the show, Mr. Steven Bartnett of The Space Between Studio created two beautiful paintings, which were auctioned off by SREC Committeeman for Senate District 4, Pastor Dale Inman, along with a Judges Chair that was donated by Chancellor Brandon Creighton.

We closed the evening with a prayer from Pastor Inman and an awesome rendition of God Bless America by Mr. Jon Bouché, accompanied by Sarah Allison on piano.
