From TexasGOP Chairman, Abraham George

Dear Conservative Patriots,

I wanted to provide you with an update on the Republican Party of Texas.

Candidate filing is in full swing. We have received more than 200 candidate applications at our headquarters so far. Our office is buzzing with excitement for the 2026 elections. Please follow our candidate filings at https://texasgop.org/primary-filing-information/.

Our lawsuit to close our primary elections is pending in the Northern District of Texas, Amarillo Division. We have posted some of the case documents below. Please take the time to review these important filings.

We are grateful to Attorney General Ken Paxton for recognizing our associational rights and ensuring that Texas Republicans choose our Republican nominees. Our response to the Texas Secretary of State’s Motion to Dismiss is due tomorrow.
