Our elections should be simple, secure, and trustworthy, but years of piecemeal changes to the Texas Election Code have created a patchwork system that undermines confidence in our outcomes. What was once a straightforward, single-day process has evolved into a complicated network of early voting, mail-in ballots, and in-person voting, each with different procedures, equipment, and timelines.

Convenience should never come at the expense of election integrity. The Brent Money amendment to SB 2753, authored by Senator Bob Hall, is a critical step toward restoring trust in our elections by simplifying and strengthening the voting process.

This amendment calls for:

  • A single voting period with uniform rules

  • The use of one set of equipment for all voters

  • A return to clarity, consistency, and transparency in how elections are conducted

By supporting this amendment, we can make our elections more secure and more credible—for every Texan.

📢 Take Action Today:

Contact your legislator and urge them to support the Brent Money amendment to SB 2753. Let’s stand up for election security. It’s time to bring back common-sense confidence to Texas elections.
