Voters Must Reject the Democrats in Both Parties!
We are all Republicans and should come together to work against Democrats.
November 6, 2023 | Montgomery County, TX
It’s election season! Republican Party members should be advocating for their party and educating voters on the issues and candidates on the current ballot, as well as the candidates who may be running in the upcoming March Primary Election. Grassroots Conservatives in Montgomery County are fully engaged and were at the polls in force during early voting.
But while the grassroots Conservatives were at the polls working hard to get Republicans elected, the members of Republican Party County Chairman Bryan Christ’s splinter group were missing in action again. In fact, the only member of his group to be found was at the South County polling location working to get Democrat Tricia Danto elected.
Danto, a proven Democrat, is running against the incumbent, Conservative Republican Dr. Shelley Sekula-Gibbs, for The Woodlands Township Board Position 5. Dr. Sekula-Gibbs is a former U.S. Congresswoman who has consistently and fearlessly stood up for Republican Party Principles and has been endorsed by the local Republican Party.
During early voting at the South County polling location on Thursday, an ardent supporter of Chairman Christ, Dianne Bass, called the Vice Chairman of the Republican Party a “fake Republican” in front of voters. The irony is that Bass did this while standing in the parking lot stumping for Democrat candidate, Tricia Danto, and handing out voter guides for the “Preserve The Woodlands PAC,” which has endorsed Democrats masquerading as Republicans in recent election cycles.

Chairman Christ Has a History of Working With Democrats Against Conservative Republicans
This type of disruptive and divisive behavior from Chairman Christ and his group is nothing new. They have a long history of working with Democrats against Conservative Republicans, and the unethical tactics they employ are the main cause of the problems in the local party.
In 2014, they formed a fake Tea Party to deceive residents into voting against the Conservative Tea Party candidates in that election cycle.
In 2018, Chairman Christ and his wife formed a deceptively named PAC, calling it the “Republican Voters of Texas PAC” to confuse voters into thinking that they were the actual Republican Party. They immediately began working with Democrats against Conservative Republicans in the open Primary and some of their members even worked against Republicans in the General Election.
Jackie Waters is one of the founding members of the Republican Voters of Texas PAC. She used to be a Precinct Chair with the local Republican Party, but resigned to run against Conservative stalwart Steve Toth for the House District 15 seat. She lost in a landslide. The photo above, which has since been scrubbed from her social media page, was apparently taken at Waters’ house during a fundraiser she was hosting for Democrat Claire Lindsay. Lindsay was running against Republican Matt Beasley for Justice of the Peace in Montgomery County.
Chairman Christ Sowing Confusion, Working Against Fellow Republicans in the Current Election
During the current election, Chairman Christ and his supporters are once again providing false information to the public to confuse voters. On Friday, Chairman Christ sent out a press release claiming that Dr. Shelley Sekula-Gibbs was not endorsed by the Montgomery County Republican Party, despite the Party Majority voting unanimously to endorse her on October 3.
In his press release Chairman Christ claimed that local party bylaws prohibit the party from endorsing in non-partisan races. However, one only need look at the party bylaws to see that what Chairman Christ stated is unequivocally false. It would seem that the party Chairman should know this information.
Bylaws of the Montgomery County Republican Party of Texas
Article XII, Section 2 of the bylaws does permit the local party to endorse in non-partisan races and the local party did, in fact, endorse Dr. Shelley Sekula-Gibbs. So people can decide for themselves if it is just a coincidence that Chairman Christ’s actions are helping the Democrat while a member of Christ’s group is also at the polls working for that Democrat.
Article XII, Section 2 of the local party bylaws permits the local party to endorse in non-partisan races and the local party did, in fact, endorse Dr. Shelley Sekula-Gibbs.
It is also curious, and disgusting, that Chairman Christ and his group have recently resorted to calling the true grassroots Conservative Republicans in Montgomery County “anti-Semitic” and have been comparing them to Antifa in online rants and press releases. And true to form, Chairman Christ is simultaneously trying to hijack the grassroots Conservative brand for the upcoming Primary Election by claiming that he is “standing in the gap” for Republicans, when in reality he consistently attacks his fellow Republicans and works against the election of Conservatives.
Controversial GOP Chair Criticized for Soliciting Support During Council Meeting
Chairman Christ should be working the polls to get Conservative Republicans elected instead of continuing to engage in the divisive behavior that led to a call for his censure and a vote of no confidence in his leadership being passed by a nearly unanimous vote.
The Chairman Has Abandoned the Grassroots
With everything our country and state have been through in the last three years, it's shocking that so many take Chairman Christ and his corporate mouthpieces at face value.
Once-trusted news media like the Conroe Courier and Montgomery County Police Reporter publish the Chairman's news releases verbatim, claiming to be investigative reporters but not presenting data on his violations of Texas Election Code, Party Rules, and Party Bylaws.
Elected officials who are supposed to represent We the People side with Chairman Christ as the safest choice. Meanwhile, the Chairman tries to paint himself as a champion for grassroots Conservatives for his reelection campaign.
Where Are the Fighters Who Will Stand Up for We the People?
The Montgomery County Republican Party is made up of Precinct Chairs, elected by voters on the Primary Ballot to represent their precincts on the County Executive Committee (CEC). Our own Chairman works against the Precinct Chair majority, claiming our votes don't matter. Many prominent people in Montgomery County seem willing to support Chairman Christ, but who is on the side of the voters who elected the Precinct Chair majority to represent them on the CEC?
How Voters Can Help
Chairman Christ is putting his desire to win his own reelection over his responsibility to educate voters and help elect strong Republicans in Montgomery County. He is sowing confusion and thereby helping a proven Democrat in her campaign.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 7th. If you live in The Woodlands, please make sure that you get to the polls and vote for Dr. Shelley Sekula-Gibbs to help keep Montgomery County “Red.” Polls are open from 7 am to 7 pm.
See you at the polls!
