The Texas Federation of Republican Women (TFRW) has been around since 1955 and is undisputedly one of the most influential political organizations in the great state of Texas. We are so blessed to have six TFRW-affiliated groups here in Montgomery County, boasting around 1,000 members. The Montgomery County Republican Party is committed to collaborating with and supporting these groups.

Republican women stand for limited government and a strong national defense, but they are also effective in emphasizing the importance of family values, education, and small business development in the political arena. Additionally, these clubs often serve as a supportive environment for women to develop leadership skills, run for office, and promote the importance of conservative values in shaping the future of Montgomery County.

The Local Party’s Commitment to Republican Women’s Groups

To demonstrate our commitment to the Republican Women’s Clubs, the Montgomery County Republican Party has created a page specifically for them on the Montgomery County Republican Party website under the “Get Involved” tab in top navigation menu.

On the Republican Women’s page, people can find out when and where each Republican Women’s Group meets and a link is provided to each group’s website for more information. In addition, the Montgomery County Republican Party includes the special events of each Republican Women’s organization as requested on the calendar on the official party website.

Republican Women’s Clubs’ Participation Is Encouraged

The Republican Women are also welcome and encouraged to be regular presenters and attendees at the official Republican Party County Executive Committee (CEC) meetings so that the party can understand their current initiatives and assist where needed.

The Montgomery County Republican Party strongly encourages Precinct Chairs to join the Republican Women’s group in their respective areas and to work with them to achieve the objectives and goals of the local groups. We believe that it is through this partnership that we can grow the Republican Women’s groups, spread the message of Republicanism, and increase voter turnout in our county.

Montgomery County Republican Women’s Summit

In 2024, the Montgomery County Republican Party hosted a Republican Women’s Summit where all of the Republican Women’s groups presented and we are looking forward to the next summit in 2025.

Vision for the Future

We look forward to the day when voters can visit the busiest polling places in each area and observe that there are Republican Women’s groups running the election and engaging with voters and spreading the Republican message. That level of engagement will go a long way toward keeping Montgomery County the “Reddest” county in the nation.
