May 10 Update:

Without a secure election system, there is no ‘by the people’ or ‘for the people’.  Election Integrity may be one of the priorities for Republican voters, but it certainly does not seem to be for many of our elected officials.  Not a single of our priority bills on elections has made it through the gauntlet to the governor’s desk.  Why would that be?

Unless they move quickly to advance any of these bills, the entire priority upon which all other priorities depend will die an untimely death.

The following article from Texas Scoreboard details the bills and their status’. If you care about elections we can trust, please review and tell you legislators how important this is to you.

Original post:

To realistically pass any of the multitude of election bills stuck in the House Elections Committee, we have two days to get a favorable vote there. And we are not surprised to learn that some Republicans are reluctant to cooperate.

Regardless of which side of the political aisle you occupy, one would think we would all want sound and fair elections. More details are in this article by Erin Anderson of Texas Scorecard. Members of the committee are listed below, along with a link to comment on any of the bills discussed in the article.

The clock is ticking. It is time for pressure.
