Make a National Impact Through Local Action in 2024!
January 1, 2024 | Montgomery County, TX
Saving our country starts with Conservatives getting involved, holding elected officials accountable, and taking action at the county level. Here are some ways you can make an impact in 2024.
"We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the Courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who would pervert the Constitution." —Abraham Lincoln
Take Action in 2024
Pray for revival and restoration in America. The following organizations would love to pray with you:
✯ Faith Votes - We the People CIT meets every other week.
✯ Montgomery County Eagle Forum meets monthly.
✯ The Montgomery County Republican Party has a prayer team to pray for your personal prayer requests or pray with you for our county, state, and nation.
Register to vote, change your address, or check your registration. The last day to register to vote for the March 5 Primary Election is February 5 and early voting begins February 20! Visit Montgomery County Elections to make sure you’re registered.
Encourage Christians to vote. According to Champion the Vote, only 30 million of the estimated 60 million Christians in the United States vote in any given election or are even registered to vote. Click here for information to help encourage your pastor to set up a voter registration table in the lobby of your church.
Research the candidates on the March 5 Primary ballot. This is key to voting for those who represent We the People instead of their own personal interests.
✯ Read/watch candidate interviews at US Vote Smart.
✯ Attend candidate forums. Visit our calendar or the Montgomery County Eagle Forum website for information on upcoming opportunities to hear from local candidates.
✯ Research incumbent local officials by visiting our Get to Know Your Local Officials page.
✯ Research the Republican County Chair race. Read more about how you can help protect “government by the people” right here in Montgomery County by electing a new Republican County Chair in the March 5 Primary Election.
✯ Review incumbent state legislators’ report cards by visiting our Your State Legislators page.
✯ Scour candidates’ websites and social media. Skip the candidates’ campaign websites and go to their personal websites and social media platforms for better insight into a candidate’s beliefs, affiliations, and positions.
✯ Follow the money. Find out who supports a candidate financially. Is it the small donor, your friends and neighbors, or is it corporate donors, elected officials, or candidates? You can see all reported receipts and expenditures for candidates and elected officials at the Texas Ethics Commission.
✯ Subscribe to our emails and follow us on social media. You can find our social media accounts in the header and footer of our website.
Stop relying on the mainstream media. Seek news from a variety of sources. Look for those who critically evaluate issues rather than corporate news that repeats a given narrative or suppresses the truth. Click here for suggestions.
Get involved in the local party. The Montgomery County Republican Party needs your help as we prepare for the March 5 Primary Election. It takes many volunteers to help with block walking, educating voters in parking lots, and getting out the vote for strong Conservatives. Please take a moment to learn how you can get involved!
Electing true Conservatives must be the priority
Electing true Conservatives must be the priority for the March 5 Primary Election. We have seen in the 88th Texas Legislative Session and here in Montgomery County how RINOs and Democrats are working together against Conservatives. We cannot allow it to continue. It starts at home, right here in Montgomery County, with every election, every office, every candidate. It is our duty as voters to root out those candidates who truly do not represent Grassroots Republicans.
NOTE: The Rules and Bylaws of the Republican Party DO NOT ALLOW THE REPUBLICAN PARTY TO ENDORSE OR SUPPORT ONE REPUBLICAN OVER ANOTHER UNCENSURED REPUBLICAN. There are so-called “Republican Clubs” and Politial Action Committees (PACs) that mislead voters by asking, “Do you want a Republican Voter Guide?” This insinuates they are representing the Republican Party when nothing could be further from the truth! So voters BEWARE!
Remember, no matter how likeable or personable a candidate, or what the candidate or others claim to be true, always do your own research and make decisions based on evidence and documentation.
Your vote is your voice, let it be heard.
