Texas homeowners are hurting and deserve Property Tax Relief NOW! The Republican Party of Texas stands firm on this issue. Below is language directly from the Republican Party of Texas Platform, Plank #75:
75. Ax the Property Tax: We support replacing the property tax system for businesses and individuals with an alternative other than the income tax, and requiring voter approval to increase the overall tax burden. We demand the Legislature to immediately develop and implement a transition plan that is a net tax cut.
We cannot let essential legislation stall! It's up to us to stand firm and defend our hard earned money. PLEASE call your legislator TODAY and urge them to support legislation that lowers your property taxes!
