Upcoming training on applying and preparing your Precinct Chair campaign

Let us help you learn how to properly complete and deliver your candidate filing paperwork, prepare for block walking, get to know your constituents, and more!

July 22, 2023 | Montgomery County, TX

September 12 is the first day of filing for election/re-election for all county offices.* This includes Precinct Chairs. Every person seeking office is required to officially file to be on the March Primary Election ballot.

The process is simple enough, but if the paperwork is not properly completed, it can keep you off the ballot. You might also have questions about filing with the Texas Ethics Commission, need suggestions on how to run your campaign, and more.

Your Training and Development Team is here to help! We will be hosting two training sessions to help you get started. Each class will be limited to 25 participants, so it’s important to sign up early!

Who Should Attend?

The sessions are for current Precinct Chairs or those who have applied and have completed the interview process with the Montgomery County Republican Party Vacancy Committee, chaired by Allison Winter. To find out more about serving as a Precinct Chair, visit our Precinct Chair Vacancies page.
