Montgomery County Republican Party adopts new logo, website, newsletter representative of its principles and values
December 6, 2022 | Montgomery County, TX
The Montgomery County Republican Party County Executive Committee (CEC) voted at its Dec. 6 meeting to replace the old party logo. The new logo represents the party’s commitment to defending and preserving the God-given rights of all Americans.
According to the Montgomery County Republican Party bylaws, the CEC consists of the County Chairman and the Precinct Chairmen of the respective election precincts (see Texas Election Code 171.022).
Statement from Marketing Committee Chair Kim Weber
We strongly believe the logo for the Montgomery County Republican Party should be representative of our values and our party principles. With the Texas Flag inside the state of Texas, the new logo represents our love and pride to be living in Texas, the greatest state in the nation.
The Elephant became the Republican Party mascot in 1874 when the phrase “seeing the elephant” was an expression that meant experiencing the combat of war. This is appropriate today as we are in a spiritual and ideological battle to protect our freedom and the sovereignty of our great nation.
“WE THE PEOPLE” are the three most powerful words in the Constitution, which derives its power not from the government, but from the people themselves.
“In God We Trust” is more than just a national motto, it signifies the founding of our country on Christian principles.
New voter-focused website & newsletter
As part of this commitment to “WE THE PEOPLE,” the CEC voted unanimously on Oct. 4 to replace its old website and Mailchimp newsletter with an updated website and newsletter focused on informing voters. The CEC directed Chairman Christ to update all party resources with this information, and to point users of the old website to mctxgop.org. The new website provides the current listing of CEC-elected party leadership and the official Precinct Chair roster, as well as information on the upcoming Legislative Session.
