Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene brings Articles of Impeachment against four top-ranking officials

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) introduced a slew of Articles of Impeachment last week, calling it “Impeachment Week.” Greene brought the Articles on four top-ranking officials in the Biden Administration: FBI Director Christopher Wray, US Attorney Matthew Graves, Attorney General Merrick Garland, and Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas.
Articles of Impeachment Against FBI Director
On Tues., May 16, Representative Greene’s Impeachment Articles were directed toward FBI Director Christopher Wray. According to Rep. Greene, “Under Wray’s watch, the FBI has intimidated, harassed, and entrapped American citizens that have been deemed enemies of the Biden regime. As such, Director Wray has turned the FBI into Joe Biden and Merrick Garland’s personal police force.”
She points to the two-tiered justice system, and how Director Wray has persecuted President Trump for lawfully keeping declassified documents, all the while ignoring then-Senator and Vice President Joe Biden’s unlawful storing of classified documents in his unsecured garage, and protecting the Biden family regarding the Hunter Biden laptop findings. She also cites how the FBI stormed the home of pro-life activist Mark Houck, in the presence of his wife and seven young children, a traumatic event designed to instill fear in the pro-life activist community.
Articles of Impeachment Against US Attorney
Her second round of Articles on Tuesday were directed at US Attorney Matthew Graves, who “has totally subverted the justice system of the United States and facilitated the explosion of violent crime in Washington D.C. by refusing to prosecute violent crimes.” She points to the fact that Graves has left 67 percent of arrests in D.C. unprosecuted. Meanwhile Graves has sought to persecute political protestors, even seeking lengthy pre-trial incarcerations for non-violent plaintiffs, to the point of trumping up false charges which instigated the suicide of Matthew Perna. Rep. Greene classified Graves’ prosecutions as seeking “cruel and unusual” punishment.
Articles of Impeachment Against Attorney General and Secretary of Homeland Security
On Wed., May 17, Rep. Greene levied articles of impeachment on Attorney General Merrick Garland and Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas.
According to Rep. Greene, AG Garland “has used the FBI as a personal police force for his boss, Joe Biden. From investigating parents who protest their local school boards, to going after pro-life activists and Catholics, to persecuting former and future President Donald J. Trump, Merrick Garland’s corruption knows no bounds.”
Similar to her charges against US Attorney Graves, Rep. Greene refers to how AG Garland has glossed over nationwide Antifa and Black Lives Matter destructive riots, but instead has focused his attention on prosecuting nonviolent, constitutionally protected, legitimate political protesters.
Her Articles of Impeachment charged to DHS Secretary Mayorkas were especially damning due to the unprecedented crisis on the border.
Rep. Greene states, “Under Mayorkas’s watch, he has allowed approximately 6 million illegal border encounters, a record amount of fentanyl seized at the border, totaling approximately 40,000 pounds, more than 193 people on terrorist watchlists caught while attempting to cross the border at ports of entry, approximately 1.4 million known “gotaways” who have evaded U.S. authorities, approximately 1,424 deaths of illegals at the Southern border (853 dead illegals – the most ever in a 12-month period—died trying to cross the Southern border in 2022…”
Additionally, Greene lays out that nearly 350,000 unaccompanied illegal children have entered the US, a number that has exploded by three times in his two years as DHS Secretary. Of this number, 85,000 have gone missing, very possibly into slave labor. And adding more fuel to the fire, Mayorkas has removed 50 percent of our border agents from protecting the border and placed them in processing duties.
