Citizens are making a difference locally

So begins an article in Texas Scorecard, describing how members of the community attended the school board meeting in their district, raising concerns that the curriculum promoted radical gender theory, featured inappropriate content, and did not align with state education standards.
“After hearing citizens’ complaints, the board voted to reject the already purchased curriculum,” the article states.
Imagine if we made our voice heard in Montgomery County in a similar way, following the advocacy model described in the article:
