“We stand with Governor Abbott, DPS Troopers, and the National Guard who stand in front of the cartel invasion at the Texas border. Protecting people from harm is now, and has always been, the firm standard required in the border security effort. We trust that any deviation from that standard will be rectified. Upholding the rule of law is also the standard. People who willfully and deliberately violate the law by voluntarily placing themselves in harms way at the river, despite all the warnings and obvious barriers, bear responsibility for their actions. Those who blame Texas officials for the willful acts of law breakers are deceivers with a political agenda to keep the border wide open. We reject these deceptions, and stand with Texas officials upholding our laws. Repelling illegal crossers, and securing the border must be the highest priority for Texas.”
